Establishing an Enterprise Grants Management Platform |
Grants management is a significant and increasing activity for all public sector organisations. Governments must be able to reduce risk and create greater certainty around decisions involving financial or in-kind assistance provided to their constituency.
Faced with the challenges of multiple disconnected legacy systems, an end-to-end approach to grants management is now recognised as the best approach.
Whether beginning with a highly customised system or the need to rationalise existing granting platforms, supporting a complete grants management lifecycle from “arrange” to “appraise” will be a serious consideration of the enterprise application renewal cycle within government over the next decade.
Following on from the first Queensland Government Chief Information Office Baseline report, Longhaus has conducted extensive research into the grants management practices of Queensland State Government agencies and departments.
This seminar, presented by Research Director Sam Higgins, and sponsored by TechnologyOne, will present and discuss Longhaus’ grants management report.
